CITY OF CASSELBERRY CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING APRIL 10, 2008 PAGE 4 NEW CASES CE-08-00341 Overgrown property 70-2 (C) 4100 S Hwy 17/92 Carr, Michael & Carolyn/owners Ketron Brown, Code Enforcement Supervisor gave testimony. This violation was called in by residents of Teresa Court on 02/22/2008. Notice of Violation was sent to the property owners with a date certain for compliance of 03/12/2008. A follow-up inspection was conducted on 03/14/2008, no compliance had been made. Affidavit of Notice of Code Violation was sent by Certified mail on 03/17/2008 with a date certain of 04109/2008 for compliance. As of 04/1 0/2008 there has been no change to the property. Mr. Brown then showed photos of the property to the Code Enforcement Board. Mr. Brown continued. The City asked for a Finding of Fact with the appropriate fine to be imposed. Discussion. Alvera Annour made a motion to find Respondents in CEB Case #08-00341 in violation of City Code, Section 70-2 (C ), and that Respondents correct the violation before I :00 pm 04/25/2008. Another Hearing will be held before this Board on 05/08/2008 to determine compliance by the aforestated date, and, if there is no compliance by the aforestated date, a fine in the amount of$75.00 per day will be imposed for each and every day the violation continues past the aforestated date. The Respondents are further orders to contact the Code Inspector to verify compliance with this order. Kathleen A. Hale seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. CE-08-00343 No building permit 1-4.3 515 Brighton Way Mustafa, Evello & Placeres, Ortelia/owners Ketron Brown, Code Enforcement Supervisor advised the Code Enforcement Board that this is a no Building Permit case. The complaint was made on 02/2112008 from a neighbor about a shed on the property; the property was inspected by City Building Inspector, Bob Bieloh. City Building files were checked and a Building Pennit had never been applied for. As of 04/1 0/2008 the Building Permit has not been applied for. The residents were sent an Affidavit of Notice of Code Violation on 03/24/2008 via Certified mail with a date certain for compliance of 04/09/2008 and as of 04/1 0/2008 compliance has not been achieved.
