CITY OF CASSELBERRY CODE ENFORCEIvlENT BOARD T\1EETING MAY 08, 2008 PAGE 8 CE-08-00341 OveR'grown pR'operty 70-2 (C) 4100 S Hwy 17/92 Carr, lYIichael & Carolyn/owneR's Ketron Brown, Code Enforcement Supervisor updated the CEB members about this case. This case is overgrown propeliy. The date of first hearing was 04/1 0/2008; datc certain for compliance of 04/25/2008 was set by thc Board, ifno compliance a fine 01'$75.00 per day would be imposcd. A voice mail was received by Floors Direct advising they were actively working toward compliance. The front and side area, began to trim trees on the side lot, they planned on trimming the rear lot area adjacent to Teresa COUli the following week this would have been the 28th of April. Mr. Brown inspected the propeliy on 04/29/2008, the front was mowed, the hedge trimmed, some work was done on the side parking lot, however the area sUlTounding the storage building and the area lot adjoining Teresa Couli show no activity or progress on being cleared. Mr. Brown stated on 04/28/2008 he contacted Floors Direct and was advised they had hired and outside contractor to take care of the problem and they were scheduled to retum to the propeliy on 05/01/2008. Mr. Brown stated that on 05/01/2008 Code Enforcement Officer Lawrence took the photographs and the property remains in the same condition as well at today 05/08/2008 at I pm :vhen Mr. Brown inspected the propeliy again. Mr. Brown recommended that the fine be imposed. Discussion. John Casselberry wished addressed the Code Enforcement Board. Richard L. Henderson asked Mr. Casselberry to make it reasonably quick, as as Jolm Casselbcuy, 700 S. Lost Lake Lane addrcsscd the Board on this case. Mr. Cassclberry stated he had maps and it looks like Tcresa Court was a 50 ft right of way and dirt roads tend to wander away from center line. Mr. Casselbeuy continued. Brenda Jones, Recording Secretary advised that Teresa Court in not owned by the City, it's a privatcly owned road, so the City would not maintain the road. Alvera Annour made a motion to find that Respondents in CEB Case # 08-00341 did not comply with the Code Enforcement Board's Ordcr of 04/15/2008 by the date specified in that Order and that the fine will be imposed as set fOlih in that Order. Paul McKeman seconded the motion. The Motion passed unanimously. CE-08-00343 No building Ilermit 1-4.3 515 Bdghton \rVay l\lustafa. EveHo & Placeres, Ortelia/owners Ketron Brown, Code Enforcement Supervisor advised the Code Enforcement Board that this is a no Building Pem1it 1-4.3. Mr. Brown advised that a pennit has been paid for and picked up by the homeowner. Discussion. Robert C. Flint made a motion to find Respondents in Case # 08-00343 have complied with the Code Enforcement Board's Order of 04/15/2008 by the date specified in that Order and no fine will be imposed.
