SNEZANA OWNER <br />OVERGROWN PROPERTY 70-2 (C) <br /> <br />Marlene Broman, Code Enforcement Officer gave testimony. This violation was first observed on 05/16/2008 for <br />overgrown property, a courtesy notice was left by CEO Broman. It was unknown at that time if the property was vacant <br />or not, contact was made with the neighbor who informed CEO Broman that the homeO\vner does not live there, it is <br />used for storage. CEO Broman continued. Notice of Code Violation and Request for hearing was mailed on 6/12/2008 <br />via Certified mail to the property owner, with a date certain of 07/09/2008. CEO Broman stated that since June of2006 <br />there have been five other cases for overgrown at this location, four complied before Hearing. One was Heard before <br />the Code Board in September of2007, the homeowner complied by the date set by the Board and no fine was imposed <br />at that time. <br />CEO Broman displayed photos that she had taken on 07/0312008. CEO Broman made contact with a neighbor who <br />informed her that the neighbor from across the street had mowed the property several weeks ago because he was having <br />a party and was embarrassed by how it looked. As of 07/1012008 the property was reinspected, nothing has changed the <br />violation remains the same. <br /> <br />CEO Broman requested a finding of fact with the maximum fine set. <br /> <br />Paul L. McKernan asked if this would be considered a repeat violation. <br /> <br />Discussion. <br /> <br />Debra Babb-Nutcher, Assistant City Attorney stated they have been found in violation, they just didn't get a fine. <br /> <br />Discussion. <br /> <br />Ms. Babb-Nutcher stated this was not noticed as a repeat violation. <br /> <br />Discussion. <br />
