<br />ORDINANCE NO. 01-1014 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; <br />AMENDING PART II, ARTICLE I, SECTION 70-2(c) THE CASSELBERRY <br />CITY CODE ENTITLED, "ACCUMULATIONS OF REFUSE; NOXIOUS <br />VEGETATION, UNLAWFUL DUMPING" TO INCLUDE OTHER <br />IMPERMISSIBLE ACCUMULATIONS, AND DECLARING A PUBLIC <br />NUISANCE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry, Florida, desires to amend Section 70-2(c) to <br /> <br />add to and clarify that section. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The Casselberry Code of Ordinances, Part II, Article I, Section 70-2(c) <br /> <br />entitled, "Accumulations of refuse; noxious vegetation; unlawful dumping," is hereby <br /> <br />amended as follows: <br /> <br />Section 70-2(c) Accumulations of refuse; noxious vegetation; <br />unlawful dumping. <br /> <br />(c) It shall be unlawful for the owners or occupants of any land or premises <br />in the City to permit the accumulation of rubbish, trash, refuse, filth or <br />other matter on or within their land or premises, or the streets adjacent <br />to the land, which may cause disease or affect the health or general <br />welfare of the citizens of the City. It shall be unlawful for the owners or <br />occupants of any land or premises in the City to permit the excessive <br />growth of weeds and other noxious plants on the land. It shall be unlawful <br />for any person to cause or permit dumping of refuse, waste, trash or <br />garbage on abandoned property anywhere in the City unless the site has <br />been posted by the City as an approved dump site. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for anv person to cause or permit iunk. scrap metal. <br />scrap lumber. wastepaper products. discarded buildino materials. or any <br />abandoned parts. machinery or machinerv parts. oarbaoe. trash or other <br />waste materials to be in or upon any yard. oarden. lawn. outbuildings or <br />premises owned. rented. leased or otherwise occupied by him/her in the <br />citv unless in connection with a business enterprise lawfully situated and <br /> <br />Ordinance #01-1014, Page 1 of3 <br />
