<br />RESOLUTION 08-1883 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />IN RECOGNITION OF DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE TO THE <br />CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA BY CITY <br />CLERK THELMA L. McPHERSON." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, THELMA L. McPHERSON, has served the City of Casselberry tirelessly for 28 <br />years, beginning her employment on February 11,1980 initially as a secretary in the Finance Department, <br />and was later promoted to Executive Secretary to the Mayor on June 13, 1983, serving admirably in that <br />capacity under the strong mayor form of government until being appointed to the Charter Officer position <br />of City Clerk by the City Commission on October 14, 1991 with the dual Charter designation of City <br />Treasurer under the city manager form of government; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, THELMA L. McPHERSON, has carried out the duties and responsibilities of City <br />Clerk for over 16 years with a sincere devotion to providing quality, professional, yet personalized and <br />caring service to the public; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the feeling and sincere desire of the City of Casselberry, Florida, through its <br />duly elected officials and on behalf of its citizens, to recognize the service, devotion, and dedication of its <br />City Clerk upon her retirement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, <br />Florida that the sincere commendation, affection and appreciation of the City Commission, both for itself <br />and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Casselberry, Florida, be and the same are hereby expressed to <br />THELMA L. McPHERSON; and be it further <br /> <br />RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread upon the permanent records of the City of <br />Casselberry and the original delivered to THELMA L.
