<br />City Commission Meeting <br />March 24, 2008 <br />Page 10 <br />J. Mayor/Managers Group - Mayor Goff stated that at the last meeting the <br />Maor/Managers Group supported the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce Resolution <br />supporting commuter rail. <br /> <br />14. City Manager's Report <br />. Reported that the City has hired two new Code Enforcement Officers <br />. John Mestopolous declined the City's appointment to the CRA. The City has received <br />two applications for this board and they will be submitted for Commission consideration <br />at the April 14, 2008 Meeting. <br />. Appointment of Ex-officio members to the CRA Board will be a matter of discussion at <br />upcoming meetings by the Commission and the CRA. Commission agreed by consensus. <br /> <br />15. City Attorney's Report <br />. Reported that the litigation on the Fire Station regarding the mold issue is expected to be <br />settled in the very near future. <br /> <br />16. City Clerk's Report - No Report <br /> <br />17. City Commissioners' Reports/Comments <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner - No Report <br /> <br />Commissioner Miller <br />. Invited all to attend the Rotary Club International Folk Festival on April 5, 2008 from <br />3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. <br />. Complimented the Police Department on all their endeavors and requested that an <br />ordinance be researched for codes that would limit the homeless in our community. <br />. Recommended that John Mestopoulous and Ken Hoffman be considered for <br />appointments as Ex-officio members of the CRA and they be included in the upcoming <br />scheduled retreat. <br /> <br />Commissioner Solomon <br />. Supported the idea of ex-officio members of the CRA. <br />· Will be attending the Florida Legislative Action Day festivities, leaving for Tallahassee <br />on March 25, 2008. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor/Commissioner Hufford <br />. Attended a Tourism Workshop on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Sanford Zoo. <br />. Also attended the Seminole County Redevelopment Meeting <br /> <br />Mayor/Commissioner Goff <br />. Invited all to attend the Kid's House Event at the Wayne Densch Trauma Center on <br />March 29, 2008. <br />. Place on a upcoming Agenda the possibility of Joint meeting with Seminole County <br />. Discussed having a proactive approach on fire fees with the Board of REALTORS. <br />
