<br />FLORIDA: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: Subsection (A)(2), Recreational vehicles and vessels. of Section 3-10.9, "Parking of <br />vehicles in residential districts" of Part III, Article X of the City's Unified Land Development Regulations is hereby <br />repealed in its entirety and replaced with the following text: <br />2. Recreational equipment. <br />a. General standards. <br />1) Recreational equipment includes recreational vehicles (RV); motor homes; boats; personal <br />watercraft: trailers designed to carry recreational equipment; personal use utility trailers: all- <br />terrain vehicles (A TV's); campers: pickups with a mounted camper; and similar equipment; <br />motorized or not. for the resident's individual and personal use. <br />2) The total length of recreational equipment parked in the residential districts shall be less <br />than thirty-five (35) feet, measured at the longest points. <br />3) At no time shall recreational equipment be used as a residence while stored or parked on <br />residenlial property. <br />4) Storage or long-term parking of boats, boat trailers, or recreational vehicles within any <br />slreet or right-of-way is prohibited. <br /> <br />b. Parking of recreational equipment. <br />1) Single-family and two-family residential district parking. <br />A. Parking of recreational equipment in single-family and two-family residential districls <br />(R-B, R-9, R-12.5, R-2F, RMH-B, and detached residential in a PRD) shall be in any <br />of the following locations: <br />I) The side yard. <br />il) The rear yard; screened from adjacent lots. <br />iii) Behind all front fa,ade(s) of the principal structure. The intent is to eliminate <br />the possibility of parking forward of any portion of the principal structure; or <br />iv) Garage or Carport <br />B. If the recreational equipment can not be parked in the locations provided in Section <br />2(b)(1)(A). the recreational equipment shall be parked oft-sile. <br />C. Recreational equipment may be parked in the front yard driveway for a maximum <br />periOd of 24 hours for the sole purpose of loading, unloading, or cleaning. <br />D. Corner lots.
