<br />City Commission Meeting <br />July 9, 2007 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Audience InDut: <br /> <br />I) Gail Nagen, 227 Neervis Point, Casselberry, Florida, spoke in opposition to the limitation of <br />the number of pets per household and asked that this item be tabled. <br /> <br />2) Charlene Glancy, 210 NE Triplet Drive, Casselberry, Florida, requested the Commission <br />listen to Ms. Nagen's concern and reconsider the matter before making an decisions. She also <br />spoke in opposition to the limitation of the number of pets per household and noted that <br />Seminole County and Orange County do not have such limitations. <br /> <br />3) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida, recommended the City <br />reinstate its City ordinance regarding the number of pets allowed. <br /> <br />The Consensus of the Commission was to direct staff to research the matter further and bring back <br />suggestions at a subsequent meeting. <br /> <br />14. City Manager's Report - Deferred to the City Attorney <br /> <br />15. City Attorney's Report <br /> <br />At the request of the City Manager, the City Attorney distributed a memo outlining the City Charter <br />provisions and the Code of Boardsmanship provisions that are applicability to the issues of interference <br />with Administration, i.e. press interviews and/or lobbying activities. In order for Commissioners to be <br />fully protected and compliant with these codes, the City Manager has asked that all requests for <br />information assistance or any activities involving City staff be directed to the City Manager's Office. <br />(Memo dated July 9,2007 from the City Attorney is attached to and made a part of these Minutes.) <br /> <br />16. City Clerk's Report - No Report <br /> <br />17. City Commissioners' Reports/Comments <br /> <br />Commissioner Miller <br /> <br />· Expressed condolences to City Attorney Reischmann for the loss of her father. <br />· Stated that he was appalled with the abhorrent behavior of the Mayor expressed at the <br />meeting where he tossed the gavel at Commissioner Doerner. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hufford <br /> <br />· Also expressed condolences to City Attorney for the loss of her father. <br />. The Commission has the ability and should comment on behavior if they disagree with the <br />actions or behavior exhibited by a member of the Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner Solomon <br /> <br />. Commented on the City CommissionlCRA Joint meeting and was excited about the City <br />Center Project moving forward. <br />
