RESOLUTION #07-1813 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENTS TO THE PARK ADMINISTRATIVE RULES REGARDING USE OF THE BOAT RAMPS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission has continually expressed its concern with lake quality, the quality of life and safety of lake users, overuse of lakes, and the recreational use of the lakes; and Whereas, Section 94-3 of the City Code sets forth the Commission's authority to regulate the use oflakes in the City and Chapter 60 of City Code establishes rules for City parks; and Whereas, the City Commission temporarily closed the two public boat ramps in the City to all vessels over the last two weeks; and Whereas, the City Commission, having reviewed Staffs report, has determined that the Park Administrative Rules need to be modified regarding the use of the City's boat ramps. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Commission hereby directs that the Administrative Rules for the City parks, attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof, have been amended as shown, and are hereby approved by the City Commission. Section 2. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. Section 3. Conflicts. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this resolution, including that part of Resolution 06-17 I 7 adopting the prior version of the Park Administrative Rules, are hereby repealed.
