<br />Commissioner Clark moved to read Ordinance 02-1044
<br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner
<br />Henson. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

<br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 02-1044 by title as follows:

<br />FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A FRANCHISE ORDINANCE FOR CABLE
<br />COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS; PROVIDING PROVISIONS FOR INTENT AND
<br />PURPOSE, DEFINITIONS, CONFLICTING PROVISIONS, USE OF STREETS, GRANT
<br />OF AUTHORITY, FRANCHISE REQUIREMENTS, FRANCHISE CHARACTERISTICS,
<br />FRANCHISE SUBJECT TO OTHER LAWS, INTERPRETATION OF FRANCHISE

<br />The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 02-1 044 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on March
<br />14, 2002. Ordinance 02-] 044 was passed on first reading on February II, 2002.
<br />
<br />Mayor Pronovost asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to speak either for or against
<br />Ordinance 02-1044. No one came forward. Mayor Pronovost closed the public hearing.

<br />Commissioner Clark moved to approve and adopt
<br />Ordinance 02-1044 on second and final reading as
<br />presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner
<br />Henson. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote.
