<br />bed trucks; trucks of any size which have operating motorized cooling units; and trucks with <br />scrolling signs. <br /> <br />C. Single-Family residential district parking (R-12.5, R.9, R-8, RMH.8, and PRD). <br />1) Vehicles defined as a Large Vehicle due solely to having a total commercial copy area greater <br />than four (4) square feet, or greater than two (2) square feet on anyone side, shall be parked <br />in a garage, carport, or screened side or screened rear yard. <br />2) Vehicles defined as a Large Vehicie due ~ to having any amount of copy area on the <br />rear of the vehicle shall be parked in a garage, or screened side or sc.-.l rear yard. <br />3) Vehicles defined as a Laroe Vehicles due sollllv to havina wilIl accessories or attachments <br />(racks and similar structures) designed to haul, store, or transport equipment and/or materials <br />such as ladders, pipes, hoses, cord, scaffolding and the like shall be parked in a garage or <br />carport. <br />4) Non-recreational utility trailers less than 20 feet in length shall be parked in a garage, carport, <br />or screened side or screened rear yard. <br /> <br />D. Multi-family residential districts (PRD, RMF-13, RMF-20, PMX-L, PMX-H, and RMHP) parking. <br />1) Large vehicles that exceed four (4) square feet of commercial sign copy area, two (2) square <br />feet of commercial sign copy area on either side of the vehicle, or vehicles with attachments <br />and accessories, as defined in Section 3-10.9(A)(1) shall park in a garage or carport. <br />2) Other than provided above, large vehicles shall not park in the multi-family residential districts <br />unless the development received site plan approval for a parking area that is screened from <br />adjacent residentiai properties and the use is permitted by the management company or a <br />homeowner's or condo association. <br /> <br />E. General Requirements. <br />1) Commercial sign area/advertising is measured in the same manner as "sign area," as defined <br />in Article XVI, Signs, of the Unified Land Development Regulations. <br />2) Trailers (which are not self-propelled), including equipment thereon, may not be parked in the <br />City's right-of.way or in an area forward of the front fa(:ade(s) of the principal structure. <br />3) Screening is defined as visual shielding or obscuring of the vehicle or equipment by a solid <br />opaque fence or wall or healthy landscape material. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 06-1194 <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />
