MINUTES OF THE MEETlNG OF THE \ TOWN COUNCn. HElD NOVEMBER 26, 1945 ' Casselberry, Florida A special meeting of the Town Council was called to order at 7:00 P.M. the evening of November 26th by the President, Mr. Casselberry. All members were present with the exception of Mrs. Ruth Nash and Malford Morgan. Minutes of the August meeting were read and accepted. Mr. Bates, reporting for the conmittee, stated he had discussed with Mr. Spencer of Sanford regarding traffic regulations, also that Mr. Moats of Orlando was approached on the subject and was glad to report that both 'c!ii"tornies concurred. and that we could accept a fine or a bond for traffic violations. A motion was made and accepted thanking the committee and that they proceed with their work. Mr. Tal~ Hattaway presented a written request to the Board of Aldermen that his property described as a 50' square in the SE comer of Lot 31, Block 'HI Fem Park Estates and one-half of pUblic highway in front thereof be brought into the Town of Casselberry. A motion was made by O. E. Weaver that the property as described be brought into the Town and was accepted by F. E. Geisler. The next order of business was the inspection of the Registration Book for the coming election held December 3, 1945. Upon inspection of the book by the Aldermen, motion was made by F. E. Geisler to approve the book and names listed therein be qualified to vote which was seconded by O. E. Weaver. The next order of the meeting was the certification of the candidates, namely: /' Mayor - Gordon Kibbe Marshall - Tal~ Hattaway Aldennen - Paul Bates O. F. Baker Town Clerk - Lee Watson The above candidates had thO necessary qualifications and the clerk was instructed to prepare the official ballot placing the names thereon.
