This authorization will amend the original development agreement of <br />1988 to allow expansion of three buildings totaling 21,000 square feet for materials <br />storage. This amendment has been reviewed and approved by the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Mr. Wells said the Assistant City Clerk, Donna McIntosh, made the following changes to <br />the Amendment: (chan~es and/or corrections in italics and underlined). <br /> <br />SECTION IV - <br /> <br />Line 8 "....that improved parking shall be provided upon the written <br />request of the Administrative Official within 120 days of receivt of <br />such written reauest. Such...." <br /> <br />Typo correction - Line 6 "....agrees that, should the buildings be...." <br /> <br />MOTION: Commissioner Robertson moved to approve the First <br />Amendment to the Developer's Commitment Agreement <br />(SWOP) as outlined in the letter dated March 14, 1995 <br />from Richard Wells. Seconded by Commissioner Henson. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Engineering Services - Secret Lake Park Develooment Grant Proiect <br /> <br />Mr. Fortini said this item fulfills the City's need to develop plans and specifications for <br />work to be bid as a part of the park grant received under the Florida Recreation <br />Development Assistance Program, which grant amounts to $100,000. Following <br />clearance of a few minor unresolved title problems, the anticipated design will be <br />completed in June, bidding to be underway in Summer and construction to commence in <br />September. The design work to be undertaken is an amendment to the City's ongoing <br />consulting engineering contract with Conldin, Porter & Holmes, which was processed <br />under the Competitive Consultant Negotiation Act last year. <br /> <br />MOTION: Commissioner Robertson moved to approve <br />Supplement #4 to Agreement for Continuing <br />Consulting Engineering Services with Conklin, <br />Porter & Holmes, Engineers as presented by <br />Mr. Fortini in letter dated March 7, 1995. <br />Seconded by Commissioner Henson. Motion <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />
