CITY COMMISSION
June 17, 1991
Page 2

The Mayor announced that Walter Dawidowicz, Building Inspector, was named the Employee
of the Month for June, 1991.

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION

The Commission Chairman asked if anyone in the audience wished to bring forth a matter that
was not on the scheduled agenda. The following individuals came forward:

I) Madeline Scarfo, 190 Lady Susan Court, inquired about the status of the no
left turn sign at the Amoco Station on the corner of Button Road and Highway
17-92. The Mayor stated she would look into the matter and report back to the
Commission. Mrs. Scarfo also expressed a concern about street deteriorations
on Jasmine, Iris, and Hibiscus Roads being caused by the County's water
drainage.

2) Debbie Sherman, 206 Cannon Way, expressed appreciation to the Police Chief
for his cooperation and concern regarding DOT's usage of her street. She also
expressed a concern regarding the size of the dirt mounds at the construction site
and the possibility of them be designated as attractive nuances. The City
Attorney suggested that Mrs. Sherman send a certified letter to the Mayor stating
her concerns and requesting action in regard to the dirt mounds.

3) John Casselberry, 1140 Lancelot Way, suggested that the Mayor send a letter
to the contractor requesting that they slope out the mounds of dirt.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

The City Attorney indicated an error on the Agenda and recommended the following motion:

MOTION: Mr. Henson moved, Mr. Crocker seconded, and
motion carried unanimously to correct Public
Hearing item V to the following; Second Reading
of Ordinance 699 - Amending Chapter 30 _
Commission Seats.
