<br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING
<br />THE FINAL BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR THE FISCAL
<br />YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2006 AND ENDING ON SEPTEMBER 30,
<br />2007; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE."
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, on September 25, 2006, will hold a
<br />public hearing as required by Florida Statute 200.065; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry desires to adopt the final budget; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry deems that this Resolution is in the
<br />best interest of the public health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Casselberry; and
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
<br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:

<br />SECTION I. Final Budl!.et. Having previously adopted a final millage rate for the City of
<br />Casselberry for Fiscal Year 2006 - 2007, the City Commission adopts its final budget as may be amended for
<br />the Fiscal Year commencing October I, 2006 and ending September 30, 2007 as presented at its regular
<br />meeting assembled on the date of this Resolution, with all amendments, if any, adopted at that meeting. The
<br />City of Casselberry Final Budget is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
<br />
<br />SECTION II. Proposed Expenditures. The proposed expenditures in the final budget are as
<br />follows: General Fund - $24,699,903, Police Education Fund - $32,490, Local Option Gas Tax Fund -
<br />$3, I 03,065, Stormwater Utility Fund - $798,734, Community Redevelopment Agency Fund - $2,237,651,
<br />Infrastructure Surtax Fund - $8,022,344, Tree Replacement Fund - $20,000, Water & Sewer Fund -
<br />$11,874,772 and Capital Improvement Fund - $ 5,008,730, for a total of $55,787,689. The budget is based
<br />upon gross taxable value of real property value of$I,408,530,440.
<br />
<br />SECTION III. Notification to Seminole County. Within three (3) days of the date of this
<br />Resolution, the City Clerk shall forward the Resolution adopting the final millage rate to the Seminole
<br />County Property Appraiser and the Seminole County Tax Collector.
<br />
<br />SECTION IV. Notification to the State of Florida. Within thirty (30) days of the date of this
<br />Resolution, the City Clerk will certifY compliance with Chapter 200, Florida Statutes by causing the
<br />Certification of Compliance, along with all necessary documentation, to be sent to the Property Tax
<br />Administration Program of the Department of Revenue.
