RESOLUTION 07-1765 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CHINCHOR ELECTRIC, INC., AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR THE TRIPLET LAKE DRIVE AND US HIGHWAY 17-92 TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to enter into a purchase agreement with Chinchor Electric, Inc., for installing all of the new signalization and infrastructure improvement components at the intersection of Triplet Lake Drive and US Highway 17-92; and WHEREAS, Chinchor Electric, Inc., has been competitively bid with the Traffic Engineering Division of Seminole County and has performed similar work; and WHEREAS, Public Works staff has reviewed the proposal submitted by Chinchor Electric, Inc., and has found it to be responsible and adequate to meet the project requirements of the City. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the purchase agreement with Chinchor Electric, Inc., (attached as "Exhibit A"), and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
