Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the City of <br />Casselberry <br />Presented to Randy Newlon, Senior Accountant by the City Manager, Barbara Lipscomb <br /> <br />This Certificate is presented to the City of Casselberry for its Comprehensive Annual <br />Financial Report for the Fiscal Year ended September 30, 2005. This Certificate is <br />presented to governmental entities whose financial report (CAFR's) achieve the highest <br />standards in governmental accounting and financial reporting. <br /> <br />B. Departmental Presentation by Fire Department - Automatic Defibrillators, Presented by <br />Battalion Chief Will Littleton <br /> <br />Battalion Chief Littleton gave a demonstration on the use of Automatic Defibrillators, <br />which machines are placed strategically in City facilities, the Library on Oxford Road <br />and in shopping malls. All public safety and other City personnel have been trained on <br />these machines. Training on these machines is available through the Fire Department. <br /> <br />7. Citizens' Comments <br /> <br />1. John Casselberry, 700 S. Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida, spoke in opposition to <br />the scheduled demolition of Concord Center. Mr. Casselberry also opined that the <br />Commission should obtain a legal opinion regarding the public's right to speak on items <br />before a vote is taken during meetings of the CRA Board and other City Advisory <br />Boards. <br /> <br />8. Consent A!!enda <br /> <br />A. Expenditure from Federal Forfeiture Fund and Related Budget Transfer _ $1,700.00 <br />Police Department <br /> <br />Funds are available in the Federal Forfeiture Fund are requested to be used to <br />produce a public service announcement targeting aggressive driving among the <br />youth in Seminole County, with funding participation from all of the Seminole <br />County Police Departments and the Sheriffs Office. <br /> <br />B. Expenditure from Florida State Forfeiture Fund and Related Budget Transfer _ $926.00- <br />Police Department <br /> <br />Funds available in the State Forfeiture Fund are requested to be used to purchase <br />graduation shirts and supplies for the DARE graduating class at Casselberry <br />Elementary School. <br />
