<br />RESOLUTION 06-1690 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO ENTER <br />INTO A TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH SEMINOLE <br />COUNTY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has a current agreement with Seminole County to maintain <br />the existing traffic signals within the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry which is being <br />terminated by Seminole County effective July 31, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Seminole County has provided a replacement agreement, which, if executed by July <br />31, 2006, will result in no disruption of traffic signal maintenance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to continue to utilize Seminole County for traffic signal <br />maintenance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the new Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement and <br />recommends approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission authorizes the Mayor to execute the Traffic Signal <br />Maintenance Agreement between Seminole County and the City of Casselberry, (Exhibit "A"). <br /> <br />SECTION II. The City Commission hereby accepts the terms and conditions as presented <br />in said Agreement. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves <br />to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION V. Effective Date.
