Resolution No. 06-1685 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERY, FLORIDA RATIFYING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE CASSELBERRY PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGTHERS, LOCAL 3927; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry administration and the Casselberry Professional Firefighters (CPF), Local 3927 have reached an agreement on a contract from ratification through September 30, 2007; and WHEREAS, CPF is submitting and endorsing this agreement to the employees represented by the unit; and WHEREAS, this agreement provides for the City's strategic goals to improve public safety efforts in the City; and WHEREAS, the City appreciates the work and dedication exhibited by the City's Firefighters and Fire Lieutenants represented by the unit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The Mayor of the City of Casselberry, Florida, on behalf of the City Commission, is hereby authorized to execute a contract with the Casselberry Professional Firefighters, Local 3927. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSEDandADOPTEDthis,~l qf day of June, A.D. 2006.
