CONTRACTUAL SERVICES <br />Page 1 of 13 <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />STANDARD CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this, ` ` day of A Ve 2006, by and <br />between the CITY OF CASSELBERRY, an agency of the State of FI 'da, hereinafter <br />called the City and GLATTING, JACKSON, KERCHER, ANGLIN, LOPEZ & <br />RINEHART, INC. (GLATTING) of 33 East Pine Street, Orlando, Florida 32801 <br />authorized to conduct business in the State of Florida, hereinafter called the Consultant, <br />agree as follows: <br />1. SERVICES AND PERFORMANCE: <br />A. The City does hereby retain the Consultant to furnish certain services in <br />connection with Continuing Professional Infrastructure Review <br />Services including, but not limited to, the best possible design for major <br />urban interchanges that contributes positively to the image of the City of <br />Casselberry. The City's goal for this project is to include itself in the <br />Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Seminole County (County) <br />or other agency planning process for any intersection improvements in <br />order to minimize visual blight and disruption of the economic health of the <br />City, to accommodate pedestrian needs to the maximum extent possible, <br />and to incorporate state-of-the-art landscaping features into the project <br />design. The scope of services involves coordination with FDOT, County <br />and/or their consultants to review and prepare alternatives to certain <br />design elements, to perform a study of economic development issues <br />related to potentially impacted businesses and to act as a representative <br />of the City, as directed, to coordinate the City's goals with other local, <br />regional and state agencies and other services as needed. <br />B. The Consultant and the City mutually agree to furnish, each to the other, <br />the respective services, information and items as described herein and in <br />authorized Supplemental Agreements. <br />C. Before performing any work under this Agreement, the parties shall enter <br />into a Supplemental Agreement covering specific Scopes of Services and <br />compensation. Reference herein to this Agreement shall be considered <br />to include any Supplemental Agreement. <br />D. In the performance of professional services, the Consultant shall use that <br />degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by other similar professionals <br />in the field under similar conditions in similar localities.
