RESOLUTION 06-1672 - t3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT FOR SALE AND PURCHASE, BETWEEN THE CITY AND UNICORP NATIONAL DEVELOPMENTS, INC.; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") has approved the sale, by Resolution dated February 17, 2006, of certain property owned by the CRA to Unicorp National Developments, Inc. ("Unicorp"); and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry by Resolution 06-1651, approved the sale of certain property owned by the City to Unicorp; WHEREAS, Unicorp has requested an extension of the inspection period to June 14,2006; and WHEREAS, the legal description to the property is being revised in accordance with the title commitments. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the First Amendment to the Contract for Sale and Purchase attached hereto as Exhibit "A," and authorizes the Mayor to execute said First Amendment to Contract for Sale and Purchase on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution.
