EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES AMENDMENT NO.1 OF SUPPLEMENT NO.3 NORTH WINTER PARK DRIVE March 10, 2006 Task 1. The original scope of this project included the design of three detention ponds. During the preliminary design process it was determined that six ponds would be required. One of the six ponds will be a compensating treatment pond located west of Gee Creek. Included in this work effort is the design and plan preparation associated with the three additional ponds. Task 2. The City has decided to extend the sanitary sewer along Belle Avenue to serve existing and future businesses. The utility work effort will include the design of the sewer line extension and preparation of an additional utility plan sheet. Task 3. Lotspeich and Associates, Inc. will perform an environmental assessment and flag wetlands on the three parcels associated with the proposed compensating treatment area west of Gee Creek. Task 4. Southeastern Surveying & Mapping Corporation will supplement the existing survey to include the SR 434 intersection, location of wetland flagging, location of pond borings, topography of compensating treatment area and adjoining roadway, topography of Belle A venue. spot elevation at Gee Creek bridge and miscellaneous spot elevations for pond areas that are outside original survey limits. Task 5. Ardaman & Associates, Inc. will supplement the existing geotechnical investigation to include all the pond sites and swale treatment areas which have shifted or have been added since the original scope was prepared. They will perform permeability testing at each location.
