Resolution No. 06-1646 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA RATIFYING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LABOR AGREEMENT BE'l'WEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE COASTAL FLORIDA POLICE BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION (POLICE LIEUTENANTS); PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry administration and the Coastal Florida Police Benevolent Association-Police Lieutenant (Coastal PBA) have reached an agreement on a contract through September 30, 2008; and WHERAS, the unit members approved the contract on January 6, 2006; WHEREAS, Coastal Florida PBA endorsed this agreement to the employees represented by the unit; and WHEREAS, this agreement provides for the City's goals included in the attached agreement; and WHEREAS, the City appreciates the work and dedication exhibited by the City'S law enforcement personnel represented by the unit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The Mayor of the City of Casselberry, Florida, is hereby authorized to execute a contract attached as Exhibit "1" with the Coastal Police Benevolent Association. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. Section of this Resolution proves unconstitutional, it shall not be the validity, force, or effect of this Resolution. If any Section or portion of a to be invalid, unlawful, or held to invalidate or impair any other Section or part of SECTION IV. Effective Date.
