the price charged upon each sale, the date thereof, and the <br />date of payment, and said records shall be kept open for <br />inspection by the duly authorized agents of said City during <br />the business hours on all business days; and said duly <br />authorized agents of said City shall have the right, power, <br />and authority to make any transcripts thereof during such times <br />as they may desire. <br /> <br /> SECTION IV - The United States of America, the State <br />of Florida, and all political subdivisions, agencies, boards, <br />eommissions, and lawful authorities thereof, and entities of <br />the Board of Public Instruction are hereby exempt from the pay- <br />merit of the tax levied hereunder. <br /> <br /> SECTION V - Any purchaser willfully violating or <br />refusing to pay the tax hereby imposed, where the seller is <br />not elected to assume and pay such tax, and any seller willfully <br />violating the provisions hereof, shall, upon conviction, be <br />subject to a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) <br />or imprisonment for not more than sixty (60) days, or to both <br />fine and imprisonment for each and every violation. Each day <br />a violation exists, it shall constitute a separate offense, <br />subject to prosecution by the City. <br /> <br /> SECTION VI - Ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION VII - Upon its passage, this Ordinance shall <br />become effective and applicable to bills rendered on and after <br /> <br />the /~2~ <br /> <br />day of ~,z~ , A.D. <br /> <br />FIRST READING this~ <br /> A.D. 1969. <br /> <br /> 1969. <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br /> <br />
