RESOLUTION 24-3395 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN INVENTORY LIST OF <br />MUNICIPALLY OWNED PROPERTY THAT IS APPROPRIATE FOR <br />USE AS AFFORDABLE HOUSING PURSUANT TO SECTION 166.0451, <br />FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, Section 166.045 1, Florida Statutes requires that municipalities in the State <br />of Florida prepare an inventory list of all real property within its jurisdiction to which the City <br />holds fee simple title that is appropriate for use as affordable housing; and <br />WHEREAS, the inventory list must include the address and legal description of the <br />property and specify whether the property is vacant or unproved. The City Commission must <br />then review the inventory list at a public hearing and revise the inventory if necessary. Following <br />the public hearing, the City Commission must adopt a resolution that includes the inventory list <br />of the property; and <br />WHEREAS, City Staff have reviewed the inventory of City owned property, and have <br />determined that the City does not own any property that is appropriate for use as affordable <br />housing; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City staff s review of the inventory of City owned property, the <br />City Commission accepts City staff s review, and hereby finds that the adoption of this <br />Resolution is in conformance with the requirements of Section 166.045 1, Florida Statutes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the Real <br />Property Inventory List, attached hereto, as the inventory list of City owned property that is <br />appropriate for use as affordable housing pursuant to Section 166.0451. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolution in conflict with any of <br />the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its adoption. <br />
