ORDINANCE 20-1534 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES, PART II, CHAPTER <br />70 — SOLID WASTE, SECTION 70-1 TO SECTION 70-100 PROVIDING <br />FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City conducted a commercial solid waste collection consolidation <br />study, and the study concluded it would benefit the City to consolidate commercial solid waste <br />collections; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission authorized the procurement of up to two firms to <br />provide 1.) frontloader/compactor solid waste collection and, 2.) open -top roll -off non- <br />putrescible solid waste collection; and <br />WHEREAS, the City needs to update portions of Chapter 70 of the City Code, and to <br />amend it to reflect the consolidation of commercial solid waste collection; and <br />WHEREAS, words with double underlined type shall constitute additions to the original <br />text and strike g h shall constitute deletions to the original text, and asterisks (* * *) indicate <br />that text shall remain unchanged from the language existing prior to adoption of this Ordinance. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. Part II — Chapter 70 — Solid Waste, Section 70-1 to Section 70-100, of the Code <br />of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida, is amended as follows <br />Chapter 70 - SOLID WASTE <br />ARTICLE I. - IN GENERAL <br />Sec. 70-1. -Dumping refuse or h trash along streets. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to dump, cause to be dumped, place or cause to be placed <br />any refuse or fubbish trash of any kind g within the streets of the City. <br />Sec. 70-2. - Spilling rock, sand, etc., on street. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person hauling any fill, rock, sand, concrete or other materials to <br />spill these materials onto the streets of the City. Any person who shall violate the provisions of <br />this Section shall upon conviction be punished as provided in this Code, and subsequent <br />
