RESOLUTION 20-3163 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR GOLF COURSE <br />MANAGEMENT SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY AND CYPRESS GOLF MANAGEMENT, LLC; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING <br />FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, in 2015, the City of Casselberry ("City") purchased real property <br />commonly known as Casselberry Golf Club; and <br />WHEREAS, the City recognizes the benefit of engaging a third party management <br />company to manage the affairs of the golf course operations; and <br />WHEREAS, in 2015, the City advertised a solicitation for golf course management <br />services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission approved a Golf Course Management Contract <br />with Integrity Golf Company, LLC via Resolution 15-2738 on June 8, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, the Citv approved an assignment of the contract to Cypress Golf <br />Management, LLC via Amendment #2 on August 1, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to continue to utilize the services and expertise of <br />Cypress Golf Management, LLC for the management and operation of the Casselberry Golf <br />Club golf course and has negotiated a new Agreement with modified terms. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The Agreement with Cypress Golf Management, LLC for Golf Course <br />Management Services is hereby approved, and the City Commission authorizes the Mayor to <br />execute said Agreement, attached hereto, on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any <br />of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, <br />word or portion of this Resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any <br />court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and <br />independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion <br />hereto. <br />
