At its regular meeting, Commissioners approved a contract with the consulting firm to further
develop a fee structure for possible consideration next month.

In other matters, a new ordinance, which becomes official 10 days after passage, will now prohibit
electronic / flashing signs in the City limits. The new rule makes provisions for existing electronic
signs to stay until the year 2020. Existing electronic signs would have to come down if they become
damaged or need replacement before the year 2020.

Another ordinance, which affects where recreational equipment can be parked in residential
neighborhoods, also passed on second reading. The ordinance defines how recreational equipment
shall be parked, such as in a side yard, or rear yard, and behind the front facade of the principal
structure. It becomes official 10 days after passage.

For more information about City of Casselberry matters, log on to the City’s newly redesigned web
site at:

###
