<br />RESOLUTION 01-1326 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND SEMINOLE COUNTY FOR CERTAIN <br />ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES; AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY TO <br />SHELTER AND IMPOUND ANIMALS FROM THE CITY; REQUESTING <br />THE COUNTY ISSUE ANIMAL LICENSES; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with <br />Seminole County to shelter and impound animals brought to the County by the City's Animal <br />Control Officers or by citizens of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City requests that Seminole County be empowered to issue animal <br />licenses pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 20 ofthe Seminole County Code. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The Commission approves and authorizes the Mayor to execute the <br />Interlocal Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict <br />with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section ofthis <br />Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or <br />impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part ofthis Resolution. <br /> <br />SECTION V. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective <br />immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this f'!- day of Q~ _ .
