All were present. <br /> <br />5. MINUTES <br /> <br />A. Joint Workshop with Community Redevelopment Agency of December II, 2006 <br /> <br />B. Regular Meeting of January 8, 2007 <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Solomon moved to approve the minutes <br />of the Joint Workshop with Community <br />Redevelopment Agency of December 11, 2006 and the <br />Regular Meeting of January 8, 2007, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Miller. Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - O. <br /> <br />6. PRESENT A TIONS/COMMENDA TIONS <br /> <br />A. DONATION OF AN AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR TO THE <br />CITY BY MARK OMRAN. GENERAL MANAGER. ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CASSELBERRY W AL-MART SUPERCENTER <br /> <br />Mr. Mark Omran, General Manager of the Casselberry Wal-Mart Supercenter, came forward and presented <br />Donald Harkins, Fire Chief, with an automatic external defibrillator. The Casselberry Wal-Mart Supercenter <br />received the defibrillator as a second place prize from a recent 3M Nexum Band-Aids contest. The <br />defibrillator will be mounted in the lobby of City Hall. <br /> <br />7. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Goff announced that persons who wished to make comment or inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. The following individual came forward: <br /> <br />I) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced concerns regarding the demolition <br />of Concord Center, stating he thought it was risky and fiscally irresponsible to demolish the <br />buildings without getting a new appraisal of the property, since the property with the <br />improvements was assessed by Seminole County at a lower amount than the selling price. <br />Mr. Casselberry also voiced general concerns regarding stormwater and lake management <br />issues throughout the City, and intergovernmental relations with the School Board. <br />
