RESOLUTION 07-1753 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN SEMINOLE COUNTY AND THE INCORPORATED CITIES WITHIN SEMINOLE COUNTY FOR A COUNTY-WIDE MOSQUITO CONTROL PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the Joint City-County Advisory Committee recommended the implementation of a County- wide science based Mosquito Control Program that is focused on integrated pest management; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to contract with the County for the provision of said services; and WHEREAS, the County is agreeable to providing these services pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the Memorandum of Agreement; and WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the Memorandum of Agreement with Seminole County and incorporated cities within Seminole County for a County-wide Mosquito Control Program and find it to be favorable to the City. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the Memorandum of Agreement with Seminole County and incorporated cities within Seminole County for a County-wide Mosquito Control Program (attached as "Exhibit A"), and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution.
