RESOLUTION 06- 1 647 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FEES FOR FACILITY USE, RECREATION PROGRAMS, AND SPORTS REGISTRATION, AS PRESENTED IN EXHIBIT 'A'; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, fee schedules for recreation programs and park facilities are reviewed yearly to ensure that programs offered are able to meet public demand in a cost-effective manner and continue to promote the quality of life within the community; and, WHEREAS, the Casselberry Parks and Recreation Department is authorized and empowered to fix and establish fees for facility use, program activity participation, and sports team registrations, subject to approval by the Casselberry City Commission; and, WHEREAS, a scholarship program is in place to provide subsidies for disadvantaged youth and ensure access for most activities; and, WHEREAS, City Commission has reviewed and considered the information provided in Exhibit 'A". NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the user fee schedule for Casselberry Parks and Recreation Department facilities and programs, as referenced in Exhibit "A', be approved and adopted. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date.
