Aooroval of A!!enda <br /> <br />The City Manager requested the Agenda be modified to add under New Business, Item I I. (g), "Reduction <br />of Code Enforcement Lien" at 173 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Susan Doerner to approve the Agenda as modified. <br />Tbe motion was seconded by Commissioner Kathy L. Cook and carried <br />unanimously by voice vote. (5 - 0) <br /> <br />6. Presentations <br /> <br />A. Mayor's Proclamation - Proclaming the Month of November "Digital Safety Month" <br /> <br />Mayor Goffstated thatthe Proclamation proclaims the month of November, 2005 as "Digital Safety Month". <br />He urged the citizens to join in a salute to the Florida Electronic Evidence team of the United States Secret <br />Service for providing safety and security education for the youth of Casselberry and all of Central Florida. <br /> <br />7. Citizens' Comments <br /> <br />. John Casselberry, 700 S. Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida, addressed the Commission on an <br />item on the Seminole County Agenda regarding land acquisition for the FDOT Project at Red Bug <br />Lake Road and S.R. 436 interchange. Mayor Goff stated that the County was an authorized agent <br />for the Florida Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />Mr. Casselberry also stated that the City should readdress its Policy regarding its records retention <br />specifically, the destruction of police records. <br /> <br />8. Public Hearin!!s <br /> <br />A. Public Hearing and Second Reading of Ordinance 05- 1153 - City Center Future Land Use Map <br />Amendment - Southeaster Corner of U.S. Hwv. 17-92 and Triplet Lake Drive (LPA 05-01) <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 05-1153 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY AMENDING THE <br />OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE MAP, EST ABLISHlNG THE FUTURE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION OF HIGH INTENSITY NON-RESIDENTIAL/MEDIUM DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL (HlNR/MDR) FOR THOSE PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION <br />1 OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Le!!al Advertisement: The notice for the second public hearing for Ordinance 05-1 153 was advertised in <br />the Orlando Sentinel on Sunday, October 30, 2005. <br />
