RESOLUTION 03-1402 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING SUNSHINE BUILDING & DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE RECLAIMED WATER DISTRIBUTION EXPANSION PROJECT CONTRACTS A & B; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry advertised for Firms to provide all necessary labor, materials. equipment, tools and services needed for the Reclaimed Water Distribution Expansion Project Contracts A & B and Sunshine Building & Development Corporation was the low bidder on both contracts; and WHEREAS, the City is desirous of expanding the existing reclaimed service in order to provide reclaimed water service to more residents of the City; and WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed the bid of Sunshine Building & Development Corporation and found it the most responsive and responsible bid for the project and recommends approval. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, hereby accepts the contract agreements with Sunshine Building & Development Corporation, attached as "Exhibit A" and "Exhibit B", and authorizes the Mayor to sign the enclosed agreements on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED and ADOPTED this III t! daYOf.~ h "d ' AD 2003.
