RESOLUTION 03-1400 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING SUNSHINE BUILDING & DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE GEE CREEK LANE WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry advertised for Firms to provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools and services needed for the Gee Creek Lane Water Main Replacement and Sunshine Building & Development Corporation was the low bidder; and WHEREAS, the water main on Gee Creek Lane is in need of replacement in order to provide reliable and consistent water service; and WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed the bid of Sunshine Building & Development Corporation and found it the most responsive and responsible bid for the project and recommends approval. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, hereby accepts the contract agreement with Sunshine Building & Development Corporation, attached as "Exhibit /1\', and authorizes the Mayor to sign the enclosed agreement on behalf of the City Commission. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions ofthis Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
