<br />CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of June 27, 2005 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 2 of 16 <br /> <br />IV. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />The City Clerk called the roll of Elected Officials. All were present. <br /> <br />V. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Commissioner Hufford noted it was the unanimous consensus of the City Commission at the June 13, <br />2005 meeting to move Citizen Comments on the agenda to follow Presentations and the current agenda <br />needed to be amended to reflect that change. X. Citizen Comments was renumbered as VII and the <br />remaining items were renumbered accordingly. <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner requested that the City Commission discuss possibly putting a time limit on <br />meetings prior to discussing any business on the current agenda. Mayor Goff suggested adding the <br />discussion as item VI.(D) under Presentations. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Doerner moved to approve the agenda as modified. Motion <br />was seconded by Vice Mayor Hart. Motion carried unanimously by voice <br />vote. <br /> <br />VI. PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />A. PROCLAMATION - PARKS & RECREATION MONTH <br /> <br />Mr. Fortini read the Mayor's Proclamation designating July as Parks & Recreation Month in the City of <br />Casselberry. <br /> <br />B. TELEVISION PRODUCTION OPTIONS FOR CITY COMMISSION MEETINGS <br /> <br />Mr. Fortini and Ms. Vernon-Devlin gave a PowerPoint presentation regarding television production <br />options for City Commission meetings including proposals from Monkey Fist Productions and SGTV. A <br />copy of the PowerPoint presentation is attached to and made a part of these minutes. Discussion <br />ensued regarding the various costs associated with the options presented, potential funding sources, and <br />necessary lighting and sound improvements for the Commission Chambers. Mr. Segreto stated that <br />television production is not included in the proposed FY 2006 budget, but directed Mr. Fortini to prepare <br />firm and comprehensive costs for all options, including necessary lighting and sound improvements for <br />the Chambers, for possible discussion by the City Commission during the upcoming budget workshops. <br /> <br />C. WEB STREAMING PROPOSAL - GRANICUS <br /> <br />Chris Rynders, Southeast Regional Director, Granicus, gave a PowerPoint presentation regarding <br />webcasting (audio streaming) of City Commission meetings on the City's website, and other services <br />provided by Granicus, which could be utilized as an alternative to televised meetings, or in conjunction <br />with televised meetings. A copy of tbe PowerPoint presentation is attached to and made a part of <br />these minutes. <br />
