RESOLUTION 05-1560 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF REAL ESTATE ON PLUMOSA AVENUE, LOT 5, BLOCK H, FERN PARK ESTATES, PLAT BOOK 5, PAGES 10-12, AS LISTED IN THE LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS OF THE REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to continue to provide recreational services to its residents; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to provide for environmental safeguards of its natural resources; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry wishes to secure real estate property to expand Plumosa Oaks Park; and WHEREAS, the City Commission authorized City staff to pursue purchase of said property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry will proceed with the purchase of property located on Plumosa Avenue, Lot 5, Block H, Fern Park Estates, Plat Book 5, Pages 10-12, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said contracts (attached as Exhibit A) on behalf of the City. SECTION ll. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION Ill. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective innnediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED ,"" ADOPTED ili;, /tjIj "Y of :!zk,¿ ;:;-. AD 2005.
