CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CITY COMMISSION <br /> <br />The City Commission of the City of Casselberry held a Special Meeting/Workshop April 14, 2003 at <br />7:00 p.m. in the Casselberry City Hall Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, <br />Florida. <br /> <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT: <br /> <br />Bruce Pronovost, Mayor/Commissioner <br />Al Clark, Vice Mayor/Commissioner <br />Linda Hart, Commissioner <br />Kathy Cook, Commissioner <br />Susan Doemer, Commissioner <br /> <br />STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Frank W. Clifton, Jr., City Manager <br />Thelma McPherson, City Clerk <br />Donna Gardner, Commission Secretary <br />Jeffrey Dreier, Finance Director <br />Zane McFarlane, Information Systems Technical Specialist <br />John Pavlis, Police Chief <br />Tony Segreto, Public Works Director <br />Cristina Vivo', Personnel Director <br />Richard Wells, Community Development Director <br /> <br />OTHERS PRESENT <br />Catherine Reischmann, City Attorney <br /> <br />Mayor Pronovost called the Special Meeting/Workshop to order at 7:02 p.m. Vice Mayor/Commissioner <br />Clark led the invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. The City Clerk called the roll of elected Officials. <br />All were present. <br /> <br />Presentations were made by two Investor Owned Electrical Providers, Kissimmee Utilities (KUA) and <br />Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC). The following actions were taken by the City Commission: <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark to request that Progress <br />Energy present their final and best franchise proposal and settlement <br />proposal by May 23, 2003. The motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Susan Doerner and carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> <br />MOTION; <br /> <br />Moved by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Al Clark to request that Kissimmee <br />Utilities (KUA) and Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) present further <br />in-depth proposals by May 23, 2003. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Susan Doerner and carried on a 4 - 1 roll call vote. <br />Commissioner Kathy Cook dissenting. <br /> <br /> <br />
