SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 02-1074 - FUTURE LAND USE OF U- <br /> <br />HAUL PROPERTY ON STATE ROAD 436 <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to read Ordinance 02-1074 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Hart. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 02-1074 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL <br />FUTURE LAND USE MAP ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />OF COMMERCIAL (C) FOR THAT PARCEL DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 OF THIS <br />ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br /> <br />The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 02-1074 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on <br />January 3, 2003. Orff~nance 02-1074 was passed on first reading on December 9, 2002. <br /> <br />Mr. Wells stated Ordinance 02-1074 provides for an administrative amendment of the Future Land Use <br />classification of property previously annexed via Ordinance 02-1067 from Seminole Cotmty commercial to <br />City of Casselberry commercial. The amendment is being processed as a small scale map amendment <br />according to 163.3187(1)(c), (2a), and (3), Florida Statutes. The Planning & Zoning Commission <br />recommended approval of the amendment by a 4 - 0 vote at its November 13, 2002 meeting. Staff <br />recommended approval of Ordinance 02-1074 on second reading. <br /> <br />Mayor Pronovost asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to speak either for or against <br />Ordinance 02-1074. No one came forward. Mayor Pronovost closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to approve and adopt <br />Ordinance 02-1074 on second and final reading, as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Hart. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote of the City Commission: <br /> <br /> Commissioner Doemer - Yes; Commissioner Cook - Yes; Commissioner Hart - Yes; Vice Mayor <br /> Clark - Yes; Mayor Pronovost - Yes.
