RESOLUTION 19-3136 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR 9-1-1 PROTOCOL BETWEEN <br />SEMINOLE COUNTY, THE CITIES OF ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, <br />CASSELBERRY, LAKE MARY, LONGWOOD, OVIEDO, SANFORD <br />AND WINTER SPRINGS, THE SANFORD AIRPORT AUTHORITY, THE <br />SEMINOLE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND THE SEMINOLE <br />COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 163.01(2) and 163.01(14) Florida Statutes, the <br />Seminole County Sheriff's Office and the City of Casselberry are authorized to enter into inter- <br />local agreements for the provision of services; and <br />WHEREAS, Florida State Statute 365.179 mandates that each County Sheriff coordinate <br />an agreement for 9-1-1 protocol between all primary first responder agencies within the county. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That the Agreement, as set forth in Exhibit A and attached hereto, <br />concerning 9-1-1 protocol between Seminole County, the Cities of Altamonte Springs, <br />Casselberry, Lake Mary, Longwood, Oviedo, Sanford and Winter Springs, the Sanford Airport <br />Authority, the Seminole County Sheriffs Office and the Seminole County Public Schools, is <br />hereby approved. <br />SECTION II. The Mayor of the City of Casselberry is hereby authorized to execute said <br />document on behalf of the City of Casselberry. <br />SECTION III. Conflicts. All Resolutions of parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of <br />the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION IV. Severability. If any section or portion of this Resolution proves to be <br />invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, <br />force, effects of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />
