RESOLUTION 19-3117 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE REVISED CASSELBERRY MULTIMODAL TRANSPORTATION MASTER PLAN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry recognizes the importance of multimodal transportation planning and programming that addresses all users of the City's transportation system of all ages and abilities; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry previously conducted a detailed planning effort that resulted in Connecting Casselberry: The Casselberry Multimodal Transportation Master Plan ("Master Plan"); and WHEREAS, the aforesaid Master Plan addressed the City's transportation needs through the programming of multimodal transportation projects and also established important policies to promote sustainability and complete streets; and WHEREAS, on August 22, 2016, the aforesaid Master Plan was adopted by Resolution 16- 2901; and WHEREAS, the City has identified the need for updates to the Master Plan, including a new Healthy Community Complete Streets Policy and Design Guidelines to serve as an update to the previous Complete Streets Policy and Design Guidelines contained within the Master Plan; and WHEREAS, the City has revised Connecting Casselberry: The Casselberry Multimodal Transportation Master Plan to incorporate these updates. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves and adopts the revised Connecting Casselberry: The Casselberry Multimodal Transportation Master Plan. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution.
