RESOLUTION 19-3117 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE <br />REVISED CASSELBERRY MULTIMODAL TRANSPORTATION <br />MASTER PLAN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry recognizes the importance of multimodal <br />transportation planning and programming that addresses all users of the City's transportation <br />system of all ages and abilities; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry previously conducted a detailed planning effort that <br />resulted in Connecting Casselberry: The Casselberry Multimodal Transportation Master Plan <br />("Master Plan"); and <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid Master Plan addressed the City's transportation needs through <br />the programming of multimodal transportation projects and also established important policies to <br />promote sustainability and complete streets; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 22, 2016, the aforesaid Master Plan was adopted by Resolution 16- <br />2901; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has identified the need for updates to the Master Plan, including a <br />new Healthy Community Complete Streets Policy and Design Guidelines to serve as an update to <br />the previous Complete Streets Policy and Design Guidelines contained within the Master Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has revised Connecting Casselberry: The Casselberry Multimodal <br />Transportation Master Plan to incorporate these updates. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves and adopts <br />the revised Connecting Casselberry: The Casselberry Multimodal Transportation Master Plan. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />
