RESOLUTION 19-3103 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE FY 2019/2020 ADDENDUM TO THE AGREEMENT FOR THE POLICE DISPATCHING SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 163.01(2) and 163.01(14) Florida Statutes, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and the City of Casselberry are authorized to enter into inter- local agreements for the provision of services; and WHEREAS, the Sheriffs Office maintains seven days per week, twenty-four hours per day law enforcement dispatching services; and WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has determined that it is advantageous for the City and its residents to contract with the Sheriff's Office for the provision of police dispatching services; and WHEREAS, on September 24, 2018, the City of Casselberry entered into an Agreement for Dispatching Services with the Seminole County Sheriffs Office for the term October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2021, which Agreement is renewed annually via an Addendum; and WHEREAS, the Police Chief has reviewed the FY2019/20 Addendum to the Agreement for Dispatching Services and finds it favorable to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the FY 2019/20 Addendum to the Agreement for Dispatching Services between the City of Casselberry and the Seminole County Sheriffs Office, as set forth in Exhibit A and attached hereto, is hereby approved. SECTION II. The Mayor of the City of Casselberry is hereby authorized to execute said document on behalf of the City of Casselberry. SECTION III. Conflicts. All Resolutions of parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed.
