RESOLUTION 19-3096 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY AND THE SEMINOLE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE TO RECEIVE GRANT FUNDING FOR CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN THE CENTRAL FLORIDA HIGH INTENSITY DRUG TRAFFICKING AREAS PROGRAM. WHEREAS, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office has been awarded the Central Florida High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Program Grant #G19CF0008A for funding the participation of subrecipients in the Seminole County Sheriffs Office City/County Investigative Bureau (CCIB) for the performance period of January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2020; and WHEREAS, the Casselberry Police Department has actively participated in the Seminole County Sheriffs Office CCIB since 1999 and wishes to continue; and WHEREAS, Seminole County Sheriffs Office has provided a Subrecipient Agreement which allows the Casselberry Police Department to continue participation in the CCIB and receive funding through the HIDTA Grant awarded to the Seminole County Sheriffs Office; and WHEREAS, the Casselberry Police Department has determined that it is advantageous to the City and its citizens to enter into the Subrecipient Agreement with the Seminole County Sheriffs Office and receive grant funds for the City's participation in the CCIB. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the Subrecipient Agreement with the Seminole County Sheriffs Office, attached as Exhibit A, for funding through HIDTA Grant #G 19CF0008A for continued participation in the Seminole County Sheriffs Office CCIB for the period January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2020, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions of parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed.
