RESOLUTION 19-3093 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF A STATE HIGHWAY LIGHTING, MAINTENANCE, <br />AND COMPENSATION AGREEMENT WORK ORDER (FY19/20) <br />WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR <br />THE MAINTENANCE OF HIGHWAY LIGHTING FOR US <br />HIGHWAY 17-92 AND SR 436; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, for many years the City has maintained the highway lighting along <br />portions of US Highway 17-92 and SR 436 and desires to continue an active role in maintaining <br />this area; and <br />WHEREAS, FDOT has submitted the State Highway Lighting, Maintenance, and <br />Compensation Agreement Work Order for FY 19/20, for compensation in the amount of <br />$74,996.06, to maintain the portions of US Highway 17-92 and SR 436 effective July 1, 2019 <br />through June 30, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the State Highway Lighting, Maintenance, and <br />Compensation Agreement Work Order for FY 19/20 and finds it favorable to meet the needs <br />of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the State <br />Highway Lighting, Maintenance, and Compensation Agreement Work Order for FY 19/20 <br />submitted by the FDOT for the amount of $74,996.06 and authorizes the Mayor to execute said <br />document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any <br />of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
