RESOLUTION 19-3093 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A STATE HIGHWAY LIGHTING, MAINTENANCE, AND COMPENSATION AGREEMENT WORK ORDER (FY19/20) WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF HIGHWAY LIGHTING FOR US HIGHWAY 17-92 AND SR 436; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, for many years the City has maintained the highway lighting along portions of US Highway 17-92 and SR 436 and desires to continue an active role in maintaining this area; and WHEREAS, FDOT has submitted the State Highway Lighting, Maintenance, and Compensation Agreement Work Order for FY 19/20, for compensation in the amount of $74,996.06, to maintain the portions of US Highway 17-92 and SR 436 effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020; and WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the State Highway Lighting, Maintenance, and Compensation Agreement Work Order for FY 19/20 and finds it favorable to meet the needs of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the State Highway Lighting, Maintenance, and Compensation Agreement Work Order for FY 19/20 submitted by the FDOT for the amount of $74,996.06 and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. SECTION IV. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
