RESOLUTION 16 -2855 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, IN RECOGNITION OF DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA BY UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE SUPERINTENDENT DAVID R. LANKFORD. WHEREAS, DAVID R. LANKFORD has served the City of Casselberry tirelessly for over 41 years, beginning full -time employment with the City on September 16, 1974 as a Meter Reader, then Utility Serviceman, Utility Equipment Operator, Distribution and Collection Superintendent, a Construction Inspector/ Line Locator Supervisor, and finally as a Utility Infrastructure Superintendent in the Public Works Department; and WHEREAS, DAVID R. LANKFORD currently carries out the duties and responsibilities of Utility Infrastructure Superintendent with a sincere devotion to providing quality and professional service to the public; and WHEREAS, it is the feeling and sincere desire of the City of Casselberry, Florida, through its duly elected officials and on behalf of its citizens, to recognize his service, devotion, and dedication upon his retirement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida that the sincere commendation, affection and appreciation of the City Commission, both for itself and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Casselberry, Florida, be and the same are hereby expressed to DAVID R. LANKFORD; and be it further RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread upon the permanent records of the City of Casselberry and the original delivered to DAVID R. LANKFORD at an appropriate time established to recognize his service to the City of Casselberry and its citizens. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of May, A.D., 2016.
