RESOLUTION 16 -2856 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, IN RECOGNITION OF DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA BY TRAFFIC SIGN SPECIALIST THOMAS M. WOOD. WHEREAS, THOMAS M. WOOD has served the City of Casselberry tirelessly for over 21 years, beginning full -time employment with the City on January 5, 1995 as Streets Maintenance Worker, then as Sign Technician, a Streets Lead Maintenance Worker, and finally as a Traffic Sign Specialist in the Public Works Department; and WHEREAS, THOMAS M. WOOD currently carries out the duties and responsibilities of Traffic Sign Specialist with a sincere devotion to providing quality and professional service to the public; and WHEREAS, it is the feeling and sincere desire of the City of Casselberry, Florida, through its duly elected officials and on behalf of its citizens, to recognize his service, devotion, and dedication upon his retirement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida that the sincere commendation, affection and appreciation of the City Commission, both for itself and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Casselberry, Florida, be and the same are hereby expressed to THOMAS M. WOOD; and be it further RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread upon the permanent records of the City of Casselberry and the original delivered to THOMAS M. WOOD at an appropriate time established to recognize his service to the City of Casselberry and its citizens. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23A day of May, A.D., 2016.
