RESOLUTION 16 -2844 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO SUPPLEMENTAL <br />AGREEMENT NO. 4 TO THE STANDARD CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />WITH GEOSYNTEC CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES FOR STORMWATER, LAKES MANAGEMENT, AND WATER <br />QUALITY RELATED PROJECTS FOR THE CASSELTON DRIVE <br />IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City has identified the need for storm pipe rehabilitation, water main <br />replacement, and pavement rehabilitation along the Casselton Drive corridor; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has also identified the potential for complete street and low impact <br />development improvements to this corridor to improve mobility, safety, aesthetics, and <br />stormwater treatment; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 24, 2014, the City entered into a Standard Consultant <br />Agreement with Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. (Geosyntec) for professional services for <br />stormwater, lakes management, and water quality related projects; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 23, 2015, the City approved Supplemental Agreement No. 4 <br />with Geosyntec to provide design/post design services associated with project PW 1409 - <br />Casselton Drive Improvements Project; and <br />WHEREAS, on October 26, 2015, the City Commission, as part of a discussion over <br />preliminary plans for Casselton Drive, requested additional design work not in the original scope <br />of Supplemental Agreement No. 4; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Department staff requested and Geosyntec has provided a <br />proposal for an amount not to exceed $34,326.53 to provide additional design services for this <br />project, which have been incorporated into Amendment No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 4; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works staff has reviewed Amendment No. 1 to Supplemental <br />Agreement No. 4 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with Geosyntec and finds it sufficient to <br />meet the needs of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves <br />Amendment No.1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 4 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with <br />Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. to provide additional design services for the Casselton Drive <br />
