All were present. <br />5. MINUTES <br />A. Minutes of January 25, 2016 — Regular Meeting <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve the minutes of the January 25, <br />2016 Regular Meeting, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />6. PRESENTATIONS /COMMENDATIONS <br />A. Presentations: Police Department Awards /Commendations <br />Chief Larry Krantz introduced his command staff, Captain David Del Rosso, Captain Ted Brown, and Sergeant <br />William Nas, and then presented individual awards /commendations to the following sworn officers and <br />citizens within the community to recognize their contributions to the Casselberry community: <br />Certificate of Appreciation: <br />• Ms. Debbie Edmonston and Mr. Mick Edmonston — Elks Lodge — For generous donation of $1000 <br />used to support the 2015 Senior Holiday Event <br />• Mr. Ed Mullis — German American Club — For generous donation of venue and staff for the 2015 <br />Senior Holiday Event <br />• Ms. Chrissy Branch, Mr. Scott McCallum and Ms. Cassandra Whipple — Brighthouse Networks - For <br />generous donation of individual gift bags for elderly citizens attending the 2015 Senior Holiday Event <br />• Mr. Matthew Colbert — For willingness to get involved and providing information leading to a quick <br />resolution of an armed robbery case in December 2015 <br />• Detective Christopher Sartwell — For commitment and diligence to duty resulting in the quick <br />apprehension and identity confirmation of an armed robbery suspect in December 2015 <br />• Corporate Jennifer Chapman - For commitment and diligence to duty resulting in the quick <br />apprehension and identity confirmation of an armed robbery suspect in December 2015 <br />• Detective Jim Day — For commitment and diligence to duty resulting in the quick apprehension and <br />identity confirmation of an armed robbery suspect in December 2015 <br />Life Saving Award: <br />• Officer Megan Colburn — For freeing three occupants, including an eight -month old infant, from a <br />burning vehicle which had been involved in a crash on November 14, 2015 preventing them from <br />receiving serious to life threatening injuries <br />• Officer Timothy Stewart — For responding quickly to a call involving a choking victim who had <br />stopped breathing on November 28, 2015, and administering CPR to the victim until arrival of the <br />
