RESOLUTION 15 -2711 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br />SUPPLEMENT NO. 1 TO THE CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES CONTRACT WITH PEC SURVEYING AND <br />MAPPING TO PROVIDE SURVEYING SERVICES FOR THE <br />CASSELBERRY GOLF CLUB PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City is pursuing purchase of the Casselberry Golf Club property from <br />the Casselberry Golf Company; and <br />WHEREAS, basic due diligence requires the property to be surveyed to determine its <br />true boundaries; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff does not have the capacity to unilaterally address this need; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has a Continuing Professional Services Contract with PEC <br />Surveying and Mapping that includes property surveying; and <br />WHEREAS, PEC Surveying and Mapping has provided a proposal which serves as <br />Supplement No. 1 in the amount of $35,500 to accomplish this task; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the proposed Supplement No. 1 to the contract with <br />PEC Surveying and Mapping and finds it sufficient to meet the needs of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the survey work will only proceed contingent upon approval of Resolution <br />15 -2710 which approves the Purchase Agreement with the Casselberry Golf Company for the <br />Casselberry Golf Club property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves <br />Supplement No. 1 to the Continuing Professional Services Contract with PEC Surveying and <br />Mapping in the amount of $35,500 and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf <br />of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of <br />the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or <br />portion of this Resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional in any court of <br />
