RESOLUTION 15 -2713 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 3 TO THE <br />STANDARD CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH SINGHOFEN & <br />ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR <br />STORMWATER, LAKES MANAGEMENT, AND WATER QUALITY <br />RELATED PROJECTS FOR PROJECT PW 1501 - 2015 STORM DRAIN <br />REHABILITATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, <br />AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City's stormwater conveyance system is critical to proper drainage of <br />the watersheds in which the City lies; and <br />WHEREAS, several components of the drainage system have been identified by staff as <br />in need of rehabilitation and have been combined into a project known as PW 1501 - 2015 Storm <br />Drain Rehabilitation Project; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 24, 2014 via Resolution 14 -2579, the City entered into a <br />Standard Consultant Agreement with Singhofen & Associates, Inc. (SAI) for professional <br />services for stormwater, lakes management, and water quality related projects; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff has requested, and SAI has provided, a proposal in the amount <br />not to exceed $187,290.25 to provide design, post design, and inspection services for this project, <br />which has been incorporated into Supplemental Agreement No. 3; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works staff has reviewed the proposed Supplemental Agreement <br />No. 3 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with SAI and finds it sufficient to meet the needs of <br />the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves <br />Supplemental Agreement No. 3 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with Singhofen & <br />Associates, Inc., for Professional Services for Stormwater, Lakes Management, and Water <br />Quality Related Projects for an amount not to exceed $187,290.25 and authorizes the Mayor to <br />execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />SECTION II. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION III. Severabilay. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution <br />proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the <br />validity, force, or effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution. <br />
